【中國】讀妳寫的詩 — 給劉霞

▋詩的力量

 

劉霞，前諾貝爾和平獎得主劉曉波遺孀，已被居家軟禁長達超過八年之久。是藝術家也是詩人的她，寫詩支撐讓自己活下去。今年四月，駐德中國作家廖亦武和劉霞通了一次電話，劉霞哭著說到：「如今我什麼都不害怕了。如果我不能離開，那我就在家中死去。曉波已經離去，我也沒什麼好留戀的。死去比活著還要容易，以死抗爭，對我來說，再也簡單不過。」決心以死抗爭。

我没有來得及和你說上一句話
你成了新聞人物
和眾人一起仰視你
使我很疲倦
只好躲到人群外面
抽支菸
望著天

也可能此時正有神話誕生

然而陽光太耀眼

使我無法看到它

〈驚醒的時候〉

 

驚醒的時候

When I woke up

四周一片漆黑

I was surrounded by darkness

那隻鳥再次在我的手心裡尖叫

The bird in my palm screamed again

無數隻腳踏着樓梯

then came the sounds of foot steps on the stairs.

整座樓搖搖欲墜

The building was about to fall down

 

我獨自坐在床上

I sat alone in bed

手緊緊的握成拳頭

hands gripped into fists

在冰涼的膝上一動也不動

on my cold knees.

尖叫聲喘息著掙扎著

Screams gasped

在拳頭中間

between my fingers

 

夢中到達的地方

I had come to that moment in a dream

一定危機重重

where a crisis 

它離我很近

is closing in

就是在鳥的尖叫聲中

Within the screaming, I could hear

我也能聽到它的呼吸

he bird's breath

 

你在時間的反面

But you were on the opposite side of time

站在明亮的陽光下

 standing in the sunlight

看著一片羽毛

watching a feather drift down

隨風飄落

in the wind

1996年，因捍衛人權和提倡民主，劉曉波遭囚禁入獄。這時候，劉霞每個月不辭辛勞，長途跋涉1600公里只為了探望牢中的劉曉波。這首〈給夏洛特・薩洛蒙〉（猶太裔女畫家，死於集中營）或許是在這些時候下寫下的。

關著你駛向集中營的那列火車

The train to the concentration camp

嗚咽地碾過我的身體

Sobbing pass and running over my body

我卻拉不住你的手

Yet I still couldn't hold your hand

你的出現讓這個夜晚

Your image makes the night

痙攣並且疼痛

ache and spasm

 

 

1999年劉曉波被釋放，之後的九年時光是他們人生中一起享受最自由的時光 — 即便還是遭到監視。直到2009年，劉曉波因涉嫌煽動顛覆國家政權罪再次遭逮捕入獄，判刑有期徒刑11年。2010年，劉曉波獲得諾貝爾和平獎後至今，劉霞則受到居家軟禁和嚴密監控。長期的囚禁，無法與外界溝通，只能書寫文字和自言自語，讓劉霞的身心俱疲，也患得抑鬱症。

你說話你說話你說實話

You speak you speak you speak the truth

你白天說夜晚說只要醒著就說

You are talking day and night as long as you are awake

你說呀說

You talk and talk

你在封閉的房間裡你的聲音衝到外面擴散

Your voice breaks free from your confined room and spreads

 

二十年前的那個傷口還在流血

The wound from twenty years ago still bleeding

鮮紅鮮紅如同生命

Fresh and red as life

你喜歡很多東西但更愛與亡靈們為伴

You are fond of many things but especially of accompanying dead souls

你對他們承諾與他們一起尋找真相

You promise them to seek the truth

路上沒有燈光沒有

On the road there is no light ,none

 

你說話你說話你說實話

You speak you speak you speak the truth

二十年前的槍聲決定了你的生命

The gunfire of twenty years ago has decided your life

永遠活在死亡裡

Always living in death

你愛你的妻子但更驕傲她與你共度的黑暗時間

You are in love with your wife but especially proud of the dark times she spent with you

你讓她隨心所欲更堅持讓她死後繼續給你寫詩

You let her do whatever she wants but insists that she writes you poems after her death

那些詩行沒有聲音沒有

In those verses there is no sound, none
