美國總統巴拉克‧歐巴馬宣佈，蓋達組織領導人奧薩瑪‧賓‧拉登，已在巴基斯坦遭美軍擊斃。

國際特赦組織資深主任克勞迪歐‧寇東對此表示：「奧薩瑪‧賓‧拉登主導或協助在全球進行的各項行動，已構成「危害人類罪」。還有其他人受到他的啟發，而犯下嚴重侵犯人權的罪行。他的死亡，將使他不再扮演組織或啟發這類犯罪行為的角色。我們目前不知道他和他身邊的人是在什麼情況下被殺的，我們正展開追查。」

OSAMA BIN LADEN KILLED IN PAKISTAN

Osama Bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaida, has been killed by US forces during an operation in Pakistan, US President Barack Obama has said.

"Osama Bin Laden took credit for and supported acts around the world which amounted to crimes against humanity. He also inspired others to commit grave human rights abuses," said Claudio Cordone, Senior Director at Amnesty International.

"His death will put an end to his role in organizing or inspiring such criminal acts. We do not know the full circumstances of his killing and and the others with him and we are looking into that."
